Anniversary

Yep, today is Darla and my 6th anniversary. We will probably go out somewhere nice for dinner. I can't think of any other cool things to do though, dagnabbit. Any ideas? :)

My wife and I went bowling and to taco bell for ours. We were just happy to get away from the kids.

Well one thing NOT to do is take them to an adult-oriented flick like some numbskull parents did with an infant at "The Bourne Spuremacy" last evening (great flick, by the way.)

The baby wailed every 10-15 minutes and finally they took her out of there with like 10 minutes left - and the audience APPLAUDED. A big chunk of us, anyway;-)

Oh, and ... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Apparently, I'm boring, because all I can think of is dinner and a movie.

Oh, or this: dinner and a book store! Fun! And also, buying each other books, in my world, is completely romantic and meaningful.

Yeah, Darla dislikes reading ;)
So we went to dinner and afterwhich it was too late and she was getting sleepy, so we postponed the movie to this evening. Ah yes and our applebees here in Bend sucks.. somehow all the things they cook are too dry nowadays. Every other applebees in the universe is suculant and delicious.

I second that on the Applebees issue.

As a matter a fact, if I recall, that is where Carrie and I went for our 5th this year.
